TVD Simulation Model Update on September 20, 2023

We are excited to announce that on September 20, 2023, we will be releasing an update to our simulation model with new features and improvements. The update will take place on Wednesday, September 20, from 5 pm to midnight. During this time, the program will be unavailable.

What changes will be made to the simulation model?

Price Level Update

The cost of building has been updated to reflect the current offer price by updating the prices of materials and labor.

Modeling of Frame Structures

The selection of case-by-case fire safety demonstration has been added to the structural modeling. The selection only affects the modeling of wooden structures.

The program models a building whose fire safety demonstration is assumed to be based on the assumed fire development, i.e., functional fire sizing, and not on the fire class class and numerical value restrictions simulated by the program. The selection has no effect on other frame options.

Note that the additional costs caused by functional fire sizing and possible exceptional procedures must be taken into account separately.

Carbon Footprint of Renovation

The carbon footprint modeling of the Spaces module has been expanded to cover renovation activities. In addition to the carbon footprint of new construction, the program can simulate the carbon footprint of a renovation project.

Other Improvements

  • Usability improvements and visual fixes to current functionalities.
  • Added the ability to import spaces from another space calculation.
  • Added specific repair measures for special transfer devices.
  • Fixed errors in partition calculations.
  • Numerous smaller improvements to current functionalities.

We hope that these updates will enhance your experience with our simulation model. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team.
